Faces (on the mail)

In August of 2020 I decided I wanted to learn to draw faces. I started with eyes and worked my way down to noses, then mouths. As I struggled to get a handle on facial proportions and expressions (aided by the opportunity Zoom meetings provided for covert staring) I mostly sketched on junk mail and scrap paper. These faces began to pile up around the house so I scanned them and compiled them into this video. Parallel to my efforts to see and render the human face are my efforts to play the drums.
